Postgraduate Teaching at
Stirling
The St Andrews-Stirling
Graduate Programme in Philosophy (SASP)
The Department runs a joint graduate programme with the departments
of Moral Philosophy and of Logic and Metaphysics at the nearby University
of St Andrews. Philosophers from other universities also contribute
to the teaching. A foundation year of courses is currently taught
at St Andrews and leads to an MLitt (including a short dissertation)
or Graduate Diploma (coursework only). Students who make satisfactory
progress may then proceed to a research Master's degree or a PhD at
either Stirling or St Andrews.
