Conference Overview We are pleased announce the Scottish Network for Normative Philosophy’s Workshop on Epistemology & Normativity. The Scottish Network for Normative Philosophy is dedicated to promoting the research of contemporary Scottish philosophers on normative themes, and this is the second of three workshops. The first was held in Edinburgh in June 2009 on Practical Reasoning, while the third will be in Glasgow in Autumn 2010 on normative themes in perception and emotion. This workshop will be held at the University of Stirling, in the Court Room, on Friday October 9th & Saturday October 10th, 2009. We are grateful to the Carnegie Foundation, Scots Phil Club and the Stirling Department of Philosophy for their generous support of this event.

Registration The registration fee will be £20 per day, which will include tea and coffee, lunch, and a wine reception on the Friday evening. You are welcome to stay for dinner on the Friday night, although this will be at an additional charge. A limited number of places are still available. If you are interested, please contact James Dempsey (jad2@stir.ac.uk) Accommodation Stirling and Bridge of Allan (15-20 minute walk to the University) have a wide range of accommodation suitable for a range of budgets. The Stirling Management Centre, Adamo Hotel (Bridge of Allan), Inverallan Lodge (Bridge of Allan) and Ravenswood Guesthouse (Stirling) are accommodation frequently used by the department for events.
