Dr. Massimo Renzo (Research Assistant)
Massimo Renzo works primarily in political philosophy and legal theory. Dr. Renzo’s main research interests are in the problems of legal punishment, state legitimacy and political obligation. He is also interested in consequentialism, especially the contemporary debate and, among the classic versions of the theory, Henry Sidgwick’s formulation. His publications include “Duties of Samaritanism and Special Political Obligation” (Legal Theory, forthcoming) and “L'utilitarismo indiretto di Henry Sidgwick” (Rivista di Filosofia, forthcoming).
