Victor Tadros' research interests are in criminal law and legal theory. He has written on criminal responsibility, criminal offences, criminal trials, the presumption of innocence and various aspects of legal and social theory. His publications include Criminal Responsibility (OUP, 2005); “Rape Without Consent” (Oxford Journal Of Legal Studies, 2006); (with A. Duff, L. Farmer and S. Marshall) The Trial on Trial III. Towards a Normative Theory of the Criminal Trial (Hart, 2007) and “Justice and Terrorism” (New Criminal Law Review, 2007). Professor Tadros is currently working on the relationship between moral wrongs and crimes and the philosophy of punishment. He continues to work on issues of criminal responsibilityand criminal trials and evidence, as well as having interests in general legal, moral and political philosophy.
