| About me | |
In 2005, he went into the Faculty of Arts, University of Hong Kong thinking he would be reading English literature, but mysteriously emerged with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Philosophy and Translation three years later. He did not know much about philosophy, but was brave enough to join the M.Litt philosophy programme at the University of St Andrews/University of Stirling (SASP), Scotland. After completing his M.Litt in 2009, he stayed on to work on his PhD since Feb 2010. He remains, to this day, fascinated by one simple question that first drew him to philosophy: what are rights? Skeptical that he will ever come up with satisfactory answers, he nonetheless keeps searching, and enjoys the process enormously. |

| Research | |
My research falls within the domain of moral and political philosophy. I mainly work on different theories of rights and a defence of a right-based moral theory. I am also interested in topics related to human rights, in particular the justification, different understandings and the scope of human rights. |
