| About me | |
I completed my undergraduate studies in philosophy at the University of Bologna, in Italy, where I graduated in 2004. In 2005 I started a Master course in philosophy (SASP) at the University of St. Andrews and I obtained my M.Litt. degree in 2006. I started my Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of Stirling in 2006. |

| Research | |
My research centres on the history of early analytic philosophy, and, especially, on Wittgenstein’s philosophy of language and logic in the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus, in its relations to Frege’s and Russell’s thought. Besides my research, my philosophical interests include the following areas: The interpretation of Wittgenstein’s philosophy and philosophical methods (with regard to the debate about ineffabilism, resolution, therapy). Kant. The history of philosophy, particularly Plato, the modern period, and post-Hegelian philosophy (Schopenhauer and Kierkegaard). Philosophy of language. Philosophy of logic. Otto Weininger. |
