About me

I came from a state of paradise (Hawaii in the U.S.), where I did both of my undergraduate degrees, and in the process acquired the philosophical disease. Seeking treatment, I came to beautiful Scotland in 2004 for the Knowledge and Mind MLitt program here at Stirling University. Not completely cured, I have stayed on to do research into the epistemology of testimony in the light of Wittgenstein’s remarks on hinge propositions. Other philosophical interests include philosophy of mind, metaphysics, and the philosophy of disability.

Research

My focus at present is on the epistemology of testimony as seen in the light of Wittgenstein’s remarks on hinge propositions.
