| About me |
I joined the Department in 1998 after completing my PhD at the University of California, Santa Barbara. |
| Research |
My philosophical interests are in normative moral theory, metaethics, and epistemology, and my current research is focused on the nature of the virtues. In particular, I am interested in (reviving) the possibility that the virtues are forms of knowledge. |
| Teaching |
This semester I am teaching on 7112 - Introduction to Moral Philosophy, and 71J4 - Moral Theory. I am also teaching an elective on Susan Haack's Evidence and Inquiry. |
