The BA in Philosophy

The Bachelor Degree in Philosophy

The BA in Philosophy requires 16 credits over three years, including at least 9 credits in philosophy. The BA in Philosophy is not an Honours Degree, but may be awarded with Distinction or Merit.

The programme of study is similar to the first three years of an Honours degree. It consists of three semesters of non-advanced study, in which students take modules in philosophy along with other subjects, followed by three semesters of advanced study.
